Learning can be a challenge, even for talented and hard working students! In my 5+ years of tutoring various topics in STEM, I've helped dozens students conquer obstacles that stand in their way of understanding new material, performing well in classes, and earning their degrees. I believe each individual has a unique learning style, and while a well thought out lesson-plan will set the foundation for success, it's imperative to fill any gaps with personalized instruction from a qualified mentor who can explain the material from a variety of perspectives.
This is where I hope to step in, to be that mentor. My 7 years of higher education in Physics and Math (holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees) have allowed me to dig deep into the material and see the connections among these subjects. I've instructed students from a variety of ages and backgrounds, both in a classroom setting and one-on-one. My specialty is intro- through mid-level college courses (such as Calculus, Differential Equations, Classical Mechanics, and Electromagnetism) where I've worked with struggling students who need help catching up as well as proficient students who want to take their knowledge to the next level.
Whatever the need, I take pride in guiding others through the learning process and seeing them grow academically.
