I’m a first-year medical student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where I’ve continued to build on my longstanding passion for teaching and mentorship. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with students aged 17 to 23, primarily undergraduates and recent graduates preparing for the MCAT. My approach centers on demystifying complex content while helping students gain confidence and discipline in their preparation. Having scored a 522 on the MCAT (99th percentile), I understand the level of strategy and content mastery needed to succeed on this exam.
I am a strong proponent of active recall techniques, particularly the consistent use of flashcards to reinforce long-term retention of high-yield content. I guide my students in building and maintaining their own decks tailored to weak points and core exam themes. In addition to content review, I place major emphasis on test-taking practice, using timed question sets and full-length exams to train critical thinking, endurance, and pattern recognition. Every session I run is grounded in helping students not only learn the material, but think like a test maker. Whether someone is just getting started or aiming to push into the top percentiles, I bring a structured, supportive, and evidence-based approach to help them reach their goals.
