Hi, I’m Nick! I graduated with honors with a bachelor’s in biology and am currently a medical student. I have 8 years of previous experience tutoring, particularly in math and science fields, and also served as a teaching assistant in various science classes in college. I have helped teach students who are in elementary school all the way through high school and college students. In addition to tutoring, I enjoy teaching tennis clinics and lessons to people of all ages. Through both tutoring and teaching tennis, I thoroughly enjoy watching people progress in their knowledge and skills, and the increased confidence that they feel as a result.

With each individual, I cater to their unique learning needs and style to find techniques that will best help them. I work with each student to determine previous study techniques they have tried and suggest potential new strategies that may be helpful. I try to create an engaging and positive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them. I am a big proponent of the "see one, do one, teach one" method of learning, which allows students to progressively grow and feel more comfortable with the material, where eventually they should be able to confidently teach the material to someone else. I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT and would like to help others achieve similar success. I hope to pass along techniques that I found helpful, while catering to each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately, I hope to strengthen each student’s knowledge base and confidence. I am passionate about passing along the lessons and strategies that have helped me succeed and look forward to helping you or your child work toward achieving your academic and personal goals.
