Hello! I'm a current senior at University of South Florida majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I recently took the MCAT, scoring a 517 on 4/28 with a 130 in C/P and B/B as a 94th percentile scorer overall.

I can understand these are quite challenging sections for a lot of people taking the test, as the broad scope of concepts can be scary. However, lots of them are interconnected and can be conquered if studying is paired with lots of practice! To know the chemistry/physics section is to know the equations in and out, to be able to manipulate the units, and understand concepts to apply them in ways that may not be as clean cut as plugging in numbers. The MCAT is the hardest thing you have to do as a premed, but it's just a stepping stone to get where you want to be!

In addition, I tutor general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biology on their own, as I have experience as a tutor for the Chemistry Society at USF. I have two years of experience tutoring math K-12, and have work experience at a well-known tutoring center for 3 months as a tutor. Whether it is the MCAT or individual subjects, I am able to help out as I have extensive experience in the basic sciences and math to build confident in students to be able to conquer the problem solving process!

I have scored over the 90th percentile, with scores of 130 in chemistry/physics and biology/biochemistry. Since I have taken the test recently (4/28), I am aware of how questions are asked and what they want you to know for them. Through tackling and connecting pieces of difficult subjects like physics and organic chemistry, you can understand MCAT logic if studying is paired with guided practice that teaches you to problem solve to eventually be able to move through questions with that logic in mind!

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

This man know his stuff! He has been helping me with Organic Chemistry 2, which chemistry in general is soooo confusing for me and like a different language but Sathvik really helped me understand everything my professor wouldn't. I am someone who is very nervous about asking questions and I feel very dumb for not understanding things quickly but Sathvik is so patient and ISN'T PATRONIZING (...unlike other tutors on this platform) !!!The fact that he talks to me like a real person and not like an idiot really helps me feel more comfortable to ask questions. I absolutely would recommend him as a tutor and cannot thank him enough!!
