While in school for my BSN degree, I was employed by the FSU College of Nursing to tutor pre-nursing students and nursing students in semesters below myself. I was a learning assistant for one of the nursing courses, “Pharmacological Concepts of Nursing”. I have experience tutoring individuals, groups, and hosting reviews. I have experiencing tutoring individuals Anatomy/Physiology, all nursing courses, and NCLEX content through my university once I passed my NCLEX.
For individual tutoring, I like to go over your studying history to best understand study methods that work best for you. I also like to understand how your classes are structured so I can give you in depth information on how to create a studying schedule. If there is a piece of material that is difficult to study/understand, I like to break down concepts so they are easier to understand while maintaining accuracy and integrity of the material. Test taking strategy is also an important component of excelling in nursing, so I can provide NCLEX-style questions on whatever topic you need assistance with.
