Hello! I am so excited you're here! My name is Renee and I am currently a senior at Baylor University. I offer K-12 tutoring for reading and writing. I love working with children and have enjoyed applying this passion for many years.
In the past, I have led a small group for ages four, five, and six within a local non-profit. Additionally, I have worked with Grades K-5 as an after-school program leader, helping to ensure students were caught up academically while providing extracurricular activities for them to engage with. I have also assisted both high school and college students with writing, including but not limited to proofreading and content editing. Both personally and academically, I have extensive experience with all genres of writing, reading, and public speaking. My coursework, for example, spans a lengthy spectrum with regard to these categories. I have a passion for each, and would love to share it with you.
When it comes to tutoring, I opt to provide a personalized approach within a motivating and positive environment. I believe in meeting students where they are at, as we all learn differently, which is why my technique is tailored to each individual’s needs. My goal is to provide support for you or your child while increasing confidence in the area of focus. I look forward to providing each student with a space to learn and grow.
