I focus on English, writing, reading, and test prep for high school and college students. We start by figuring out what the assignment is really asking, then outline a clean path forward: claim, evidence, analysis. I model strong thesis statements, show how to organize paragraphs, and we revise together at the sentence level for clarity and flow. For reading and exams, I teach active reading, timing strategies, and how to break down questions without guessing.
My style is patient, practical, and collaborative. I give specific feedback and quick wins in every session so students see progress right away, then we stack skills over time. Whether you’re drafting a research paper, polishing a personal statement, or prepping for SAT/ACT reading and writing, I’ll help you build tools you can reuse long after our session ends.
