Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am currently an undergraduate student at Florida State, triple majoring in Biology, Geology, and Environmental Science. I graduated high school with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, as well as Honors recognition. My greatest interests are paleontology, conservation biology, and environmental discourse!
While in high school, my greatest hobby was playing the clarinet, which I have been playing for the past 8 years. From this, I gained three years experience of being a clarinet section leader in the marching band, as well as three years experience of tutoring younger students in the clarinet and music theory. Typically, I helped students within the age range of 11-15, but I also love to help younger students expand their love of music via clarinet.
To this day, playing the clarinet is my favorite thing to do. Through teaching, my main goal is to help students improve their skills in an environment where they can feel safe to make mistakes, and see themselves move and grow within the world of music.
