Medical Student Highly Experienced in Math Tutoring for ALL Ages

My name is Arshia! I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and I'm currently in medical school pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor. I've always been passionate about helping others and making a difference, especially through tutoring.

Math has always been a subject I enjoy teaching because I know it can be intimidating at first. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students gain confidence and clarity in math, transforming it from a challenge into a strength.

I have tutored previously in math topics ranging from Elementary Math all the way to Pre-Calculus. I also have experience helping students prep for SAT Math as I scored an 800 in the math section during two different exams. I worked at a math tutoring center called Mathnasium for over a year, where I got to assist students in grades 1-12 to learn math in ways that made sense to them and also assist them in their math homework. I also helped start a math tutoring program at my high school where the students could come in before or after school to get assistance with their math homework. I believe that the best way to learn math is to teach it in more fun and engaging methods that will make students more eager to learn and understand new concepts.
