I tutored a migrant in English for several months while in university. On a less formal basis, I often tutored classmates on various subjects. At my current job, I instruct newer colleagues who lack writing experience on grammar, vocabulary, and other subjects. I honestly enjoy helping others learn, especially when it comes to the English language. I always ensure students feel comfortable around me and are not afraid to try (and potentially fail). I think I am understanding with honest mistakes and eager to see my students improve.
My scores were in the top 1% for the PSAT, the top 5% for ACT, and the top 10% for the GRE section in English. I enjoy reading, writing, proofreading, and learning how to best help my students on the topics.
