I enjoy using visual images to teach and story telling. I also enjoy employing Singapore Math techniques for Math and Pre-Algebra. I am creative and like to create my own real world Math problems that are relevant to modern culture and even write my students into my Math problems to encourage engagement and fun.
I love working with students at all levels and helping the timid student gain confidence and the tools to succeed. I like to affirm students and use repetition to build solid confidence. I believe in making connections between the real world and what students are currently learning. This method improves student engagement for me. My students know that I care about them, am rooting for them, and that I want them to succeed. My relationship with my students is the Key to our success!
