Hi! I’m a passionate artist and recent graduate from Lynn University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation. I specialize in digital art, character design, animation, and visual storytelling. My goal is to create a friendly and encouraging environment where beginners and aspiring artists can learn at their own pace while building confidence in their artistic abilities.
Although I’m new to formal tutoring, I have experience working as a teacher’s assistant, where I supported students in an academic setting and developed an appreciation for patience, encouragement, and clear communication when helping others learn. My background in Computer Animation has given me experience with drawing fundamentals, character design, digital art, animation, and visual storytelling. I understand that learning a new art technique or digital program can feel overwhelming, so I like to break concepts down into manageable steps and demonstrate techniques before giving students the opportunity to practice them independently. I also like to think of learning art as a journey, where each new skill is another step toward your creative goals.
My lessons can be personalized around each student’s goals, whether you’re completely new to digital art, want to improve your drawing and character design skills, or are an aspiring artist preparing a portfolio. We can work on fundamentals such as shapes, proportions, perspective, line art, color, shading, composition, and character construction, or focus on specific areas where you want to grow. For students who want to improve their portfolios, I can also provide constructive feedback and help identify areas to strengthen. Most importantly, I want everyone to feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their own artistic style.
