I am an experienced Learning Specialist and Reading/Dyslexia Specialist who works with students in grades K–12 who struggle with reading, attention, and learning challenges. I have taught in public and private schools, nonprofit literacy centers, private speech therapy practices, and through one-on-one online tutoring.

My specialty is helping students who feel stuck, frustrated, or behind in reading begin to make real progress. I work with students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences by strengthening both reading skills and the underlying cognitive skills that support learning.

Each student begins with an individualized plan based on their strengths and challenges. My lessons use a structured, multisensory approach to reading combined with cognitive learning skills such as working memory, visual processing, auditory processing, and attention. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to help students build confidence while mastering new skills.

Over the years, I have also developed successful reading intervention programs and created curriculum and educational resources used by teachers, therapists, tutors, and parents.

My goal is for every student to leave lessons feeling more capable, confident, and motivated to learn. By building strong foundations and celebrating progress along the way, students begin to experience the success they deserve.

It is truly my privilege to support students on their journey toward becoming stronger, more confident learners.

Very professional and skillful.

Bridgette is great at getting right to the core of the what my son needs for his reading disability. She can isolate issues using her diverse background and build from that point. She is very professional and uses every minute of her session towards achieving and challenging my son. There is no doubt in my mind that working with Bridget has been the best way to advance, it has been better that the opportunities he's had with supports at school (which have also been great) because of the use of time, strategies, and uninterruptions that private tutoring offers.
