Hi, I'm Tim - an experienced tutor and educator, University of Florida grad, and a passionate learner who strongly believes math, science, and verbal reasoning don't need to be daunting. I'm here to ensure concepts click so that each and every student has a path to success carved with intense emphasis on their particular strengths and abilities.

With my experience comes the understanding that every student learns differently, and I've worked with students of all ages and backgrounds to fine-tune the right approach for any situation. Whether it's mastering the GRE verbal or quantitative sections, acing SAT reading and math, tackling Algebra, Statistics, Geometry and Calculus BC, or breaking down college-level chemistry, I can help you or your student succeed.

Test prep of all kinds is my main specialty. I've scored a 334/340 (170 verbal, 164 quantitative) on the GRE, and a perfect 1600 on the SAT. Through self-teaching I was able to exceed my goals on these important examinations, and because I've been there, I understand exactly what guidance and resources I need to provide my students with to supplement their learning outside of lessons. My system consists of closely identifying the strengths and weaknesses of my students, with a strong emphasis on shoring up those topics and subsections where they tend to leave the most points on the table.
