Hello, my name is Libet!

I hold a B.A. (honors) in Russian and Political Science from the University of Rochester. I am fluent in both Spanish and Russian and have experience tutoring in both subjects. I can tutor students who, currently taking either Spanish or Russian, find themselves in need of extra help, or students who have no prior experience with either language and would simply like to start learning.

Additionally, I possess a firm background in Literary Theory and Literature. I am qualified to proofread students' essays or term papers, although under no circumstances will I write their work for them. Instead, after reading papers I give constructive criticism and work with the student so that he or she may arrive at a final cohesive and persuasive argument. I can also sit down with students who are having a difficult time reading literature closely. I can tutor them to read with the skills necessary to successfully understand and analyze a literary text.

I can also teach more basic skills, such as simple time-management and study skills to help students be successful in school. This may be especially useful for those who are either in clubs or sports, or simply want to find a more efficient way of studying.
