I am a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) with extensive experience in anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal function, gained through years of work in hospital and orthopedic clinic settings. This clinical experience has given me a deep understanding of how the body moves, heals, and responds to treatment, allowing me to bring real-world context to complex anatomy and physiology concepts. I help students connect what they learn in textbooks to practical applications in health, movement, and sports science.
In addition to my clinical work, I have previous tutoring and teaching experience at the college level, including serving as an AP Anatomy tutor during my undergraduate studies. I have worked one-on-one with students, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and learning styles, whether they are struggling with understanding muscle groups, nervous system pathways, or biomechanics. My approach emphasizes asking questions, providing clear explanations, and using visual aids or diagrams to reinforce learning, making challenging material easier to understand and remember.
I enjoy helping students of all levels, from high school AP biology students to college undergraduates studying anatomy, pre-health, or kinesiology. I focus on creating an engaging, interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring how anatomical principles apply to movement, sports, and everyday life. My goal as a tutor is to not only help students achieve higher grades but also develop a deeper, lasting understanding of the human body. All sessions are offered 100% online, using video and digital whiteboard tools to ensure interactive, personalized lessons without the need for travel.
