25 Year AP Calculus and AP Physics Teacher and Grader - Let's Go!

I'm a recently retired and highly successful AP Physics and AP Calculus teacher from Sarasota, Florida, with a passion for online tutoring. My goal is to use my experience and enthusiasm to motivate, inspire, and empower my students to achieve greater success in their studies.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Georgia Tech and a Masters of Secondary Education with a concentration in Physics from Georgia State. I am licensed in the state of Florida to teach grades 6-12 math, physics, and physical science.

My students have consistently outperformed the national and state averages in all the AP Physics and AP Calculus classes I’ve taught.

In addition to my classroom teaching, I've had numerous opportunities to expand my knowledge . Since 2015, I've been participating in the AP Reading program held in Kansas City. It's a gathering of high school and college teachers from around the world who come together to grade the AP Physics exam. This experience has given me valuable insights into the exam and its requirements.

During the Covid lockdown, I was hired by the College Board to teach AP Physics C Electromagnatism, (live) online. I was later contracted by the College Board to record online lessons for their AP Classroom platform, for AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism. The lessons I recorded are still being utilized today, providing students with a valuable resource for understanding complex topics.

I am excited to continue sharing my knowledge and expertise in AP Calculus and AP Physics through online tutoring. Together, we can achieve academic success and unlock the potential within each student. Let's embark on this journey of learning and growth together!
