History has always been a true passion for me, and teaching it has always brought me great joy. Though I have specialized in European and Ancient Roman history, spending five years at the University of Maryland allowed me to develop a significant amount of knowledge within multiple schools of history. I am currently completing my masters in history with a focus on pre-Columbian history and culture at the Southern New Hampshire University online program.
My passion for pre-Columbian history...
My passion for pre-Columbian history developed from my time in the Brazilian Amazon with the Kayapo tribe. The opportunity came from an internship I obtained with WILD in 2018, one of the pre-eminent conservation based NGOs. I am currently planning to return in 2022 in order to conduct ethnographic research.
Teaching history is something that I want to dedicate my life doing, with my goal being to become a professor on pre-Columbian history. Making sure people adhere to historical fact rather than fiction is of utmost importance in our society today, but making history fun to learn is not something everyone can do. I believe this is something I do very well, and that’s a guarantee!

If you find history to be dull and learning it isn’t fun, then you just don’t have the right teacher. Studying is easy when you enjoy it, and making studying history enjoyable is exactly what I’ll do for you!
