Hi,

Thank you for considering me for your tutoring needs. Whether you are a parent searching for your child or a student looking to conquer a new subject, I believe that I am your person. I not only have the background, but I also have the system that will help you WIN.

Here's my approach:

1. Belief and Confidence. I am a fond believer that what holds most students back is their belief and confidence in their abilities. Confidence and belief can serve as the cap to our achievement. From day one, I focus on building confidence and belief in my students.
2. Learning Bent. We all learn in different ways; that's why I work to find my students learning bent. Discovering the correct learning style can save hours of wasted time doing things that don't work.
3. Patience and Challenge. Teaching and tutoring a new subject can be a tightrope to walk. It takes a balance of patience and encouragement while also challenging and pushing. When working with my students, I maintain this balance to bring out the best.
4. Relationship. I've found that students are more likely to buy into succeeding when they know that there are people in their corner. From day one I'll build a healthy relationship that creates trust.

My Qualifications:

I am a graduate of Michigan State University, Go Green! I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in computer science. I completed course work in Trigonometry, several Calculus courses, several statistics courses, and more math related subjects. I've tutored students from Winter Park High School, South Seminole Middle School and schools in my home town in Michigan with a combined background of 2 years. Also, I've mentored students from JA Academy (Oak Ridge H.S) and on a college level.
