Hi there! I’m an internationally certified 200-hour RYT Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance with over 700 hours of teaching experience, and I’ve been teaching yoga for the past 3 years. I also hold an Associate in Arts degree and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology on the Neuroscience track at the University of Central Florida, with the goal of continuing on to medical school for psychiatry. My background in both yoga and psychology helps me approach each session with a deep understanding of the body, breath, movement, and the mind-body connection.
I have extensive experience teaching students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, from young adults to students in their 60s. I’ve worked with complete beginners who need gentle, clear guidance, as well as more advanced practitioners looking to deepen their flexibility, balance, strength, control, alignment, and overall connection to their practice. My teaching experience includes group classes, many one-on-one personal training sessions, online workshops, Zoom classes, corporate wellness sessions, and yoga tutoring. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach corporate groups, including Amazon, Spectrum, and software/technology teams.
I teach a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Power yoga, beginner yoga, flexibility training, balance training, breathwork, recovery-focused yoga, alignment-based yoga, and competition-focused yoga training. My sessions are technical, creative, and personalized, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, movement, and breath. Whether your goal is to improve flexibility, build strength, reduce stress, refine technique, recover from stiffness, or prepare for yoga competitions, I tailor each class to your needs. I’ve also assisted in yoga teacher trainings and competed as a national-level yoga athlete, placing in the Top 10 at USA Yoga Nationals. My goal is to help every student feel supported, confident, and capable wherever they are in their yoga journey.
