I'm Theresa Bulanda. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Math and Elementary Education. I spent 16 years as a Middle and High School teacher with the majority of that time spent teaching Algebra. I also taught Geometry and basic middle school math. I moved out of a full time classroom into a High School and Middle School Math Coaching position at and Teacher lead position where I assisted both students and teachers with their Math skills.

As both a teacher and a coach I provided students with the skills and knowledge to become highly successful. As an Algebra teacher I had a 100% success rate with students passing the state test. This was accomplished by providing students with real life application of their subject, hands-on application and the confidence to know that they could be successful. I am highly motived for students to succeed and to understand why Math is important and a necessary skill. I worked with students in small groups and small tutoring sessions to multiple times a week.

I spent the last 8 1/2 years of my career as an Elementary Assistant principal. I worked directly with teachers to show them methods to help their students be successful in the same way I taught my students. My motto for education is not that students cannot learn, but 'that they just have not learned it yet.' Everyone learns at their own pace and sometimes they just need a little bit of additional time to show mastery. My goal as a tutor would be to get each student that I work with to a place where they feel confident and successful in Math. I recently retired so I am very easy to reach and will respond quickly to requests. I look forward to help you see success.
