I am currently seeking my teacher’s certification. I try to use a more hands on approach and incorporate manipulatives into the lesson. I feel like the best way a student learns is by actually doing rather than hearing. I also believe that confidence is half the problem in a lot of cases so I also make sure to try build up the students’ confidence in themselves.
