I am currently a senior in high school, where I took a rigorous course load that includes multiple Advanced Placement classes in subjects such as English, history, science, and calculus. I have maintained a 4.51 weighted GPA and rank in the top 5% of my class. I have also earned strong standardized test scores, including a 33 on the ACT and above 700 on both sections of the SAT. I will be attending a top 10 university in the fall. In addition, I serve as an SAT tutor through College Board, which has given me direct experience helping students prepare for standardized testing. My academic background allows me to confidently support students in math, reading, writing, and test preparation.

I have tutored students since 2022, working with elementary, middle, and high school students in both math and English. Most of my experience has been in one-on-one settings, where I help students with homework, test preparation, and strengthening their understanding of key concepts. I have also worked with younger students in volunteer settings, including serving as a camp counselor for grades K–5, which helped me develop patience and adaptability when working with different age groups and learning styles.

My teaching approach focuses on being patient, organized, and breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I adjust how I explain material based on each student’s needs and learning style, making sure they fully understand a concept before moving on. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence, whether they are catching up in a subject or working to get ahead.
