As a dedicated tutor with over five years of experience, I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I also earned a master's degree in Economics (awaiting graduation). My academic background, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics with a minor in Mathematics from the New College of Florida (NCF), and my experience as a Teaching Assistant at both UMass Amherst and NCF equip me to effectively teach subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, and various Economics courses, including at the AP, IB, and college levels. In the past, I've tutored high school students and college students, but am open to tutoring all ages!
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and engage in critical thinking. I strive to connect with each student by tailoring my approach to their unique learning styles, helping them to build confidence and achieve academic success.
In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor rock climbing, yoga, and bead embroidery.
