I have tutored math, computer science, and physics since 1997. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics with Honors and a B.A. in Physics with Honors from the University of Florida. I am currently finishing an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence (starting doctorate) at Johns Hopkins University. On the GRE (harder version of SAT for grad school) I scored 169 out of 170 on the quantitative section. I did funded research at NASA, Biophysical Society, Caltech, UF, and UNC.

A very intelligent tutor
Joseph sounded like a very patient math tutor. He went out of his way on how to do an abstract algebra problem so I can finally flat out understand how to do the problem. A very intelligent tutor given not that many tutors are out there that tutor abstract algebra and that this math subject is one of the hardest classes I've ever took in my life.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor
Joe helped my son with high level topics and their application. He covered qualitative and some quantitative aspects of 1D discrete dynamical systems - how they relate to continuous systems (differential equations vs difference equations) - different forms of said systems and how to go between them - additive and multiplicative equations/sequences and how they amount to linear and exponential functions, respectively, fixed/equilibrium points (and limit cycle), and how to find them. Joe was prepared for the class and given it was the first session, he was very patient. Joe assessed my son's to knowledge of the subject and helped in the areas where my son needed more help.
