I’m a seasoned business professional and Product Manager with a background in computer information science, healthcare business & technology, communication and leadership. I’ve spent years presenting to executives, running stakeholder meetings, leading cross-functional teams, and training others to communicate with clarity and confidence.
I have mentored high school students and trained newly graduated employees, and aspiring leaders who want to improve their public speaking, business communication, presentation skills, and business acumen. I have conducted numerous interviews as a director and Senior Product Manager, and I have coached others on how to improve their interviewing skills.
My teaching approach is to first understand a student's goals and their learning style preference. Next I develop a clear plan based on the student's learning style to help them achieve their goals. I am patient and enthusiastic in helping others improve and meet their learning objectives. I incorporate instructor led, active learning, and student focused learning styles when tutoring or training. Finally, I ensure that communication between the student and myself is open to allow for the best outcome and I always provide encouragement along the journey.
