I have been a teacher in both middle school and high school for 33 years. As a teacher, I work to create an atmosphere in which students feel safe, loved and respected. I endeavor to make the classroom atmosphere fun with a variety of teaching methods such as games, instruction, hands on experiences that allow the student to work toward solving problems in social settings. 96% of my students have earned an above average "B" grade.

As a tutor, I attempt to do the same. I worked previously with a tutoring company in the Florida Keys. I have also tutored on my own. I worked with students who had difficulties with reading, science and math. I have also helped students learn Microsoft Office programs. I seek to learn the learning style of each student and design ways to help them within their "style". I will not only help your child learn, but will build self-confidence, self-motivation and self-esteem.
