Hi, my name is Miranda, I am a certified High School teacher with over 20 years experience. Although, my specialty is primarily AP classes: Human Geography, World History and American History, I can help you improve your grade in all the social sciences regardless of level.
I can also help you master the art of creative writing that will garner the approval of the toughest teacher or college professor. I was one of the teachers selected by the College Board to be an actual AP grader for the essay section of the AP test, so I have first hand experience on what it takes to compose a winning essay.
I love history and geography, I could have chosen to teach anything else, but this is my passion. I have traveled to many countries especially in Europe and have gain a great appreciation for the physical and cultural world that is our home. As a AP teacher My students routinely scored among the highest of those taking the test.
No one approach fits all, after an initial assessment, I will create a lesson plan that will best suit your unique learning style. This will include, fun and innovative power points, videos and reading resources.
