I specialize in tutoring Mathematics for students in 3rd to 9th grade. I often like to present a method or concept to a student and allow the student to discover ways of solving for a solution, in this way I feel students begin "owning" an idea. I also find that it's most helpful to model the concept being taught then provide the students with multiple problems. Some students learn in a variety of ways, so I am able to connect learning mathematics into the real world activities, such as shopping, games, music, dancing, etc.
