I hold a bachelor's degree in Management and have over 15 years of experience in leadership, training, and mentoring through my work in the food and wellness industries. Over time, I transitioned into education, working as a substitute teacher in an elementary school and tutoring students in both elementary and middle school. I’ve worked one-on-one with students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade, supporting them in early literacy, foundational math, pre-algebra, and study skills. I’m currently pursuing a temporary teaching certificate to continue helping students thrive academically.

My tutoring experience includes helping young learners with reading readiness (letter recognition, phonics, and comprehension), and early math (addition, subtraction, and word problems). For middle school students, I focus on strengthening their understanding of key concepts such as fractions, decimals, ratios, and pre-algebraic thinking. I adapt lessons to match each student's pace and learning style—whether they need to catch up, reinforce classroom learning, or stay ahead. I’ve worked with students who have IEPs, attention challenges, and confidence issues, and I aim to make learning feel manageable and motivating.

My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured. I use hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-world examples to make math and reading more engaging. I believe in building both academic skills and self-confidence, and I create a calm, respectful space where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. I’m passionate about helping students find their own learning rhythm and realize that success is always within reach.
