Experienced, personable educator of core subjects

I am an experienced educator having taught a variety of students in many environments. I have taught students from pre-school to adults. I have taught most of the core subjects in academic settings as well as licensing courses for the state of Georgia for private companies (with a 98% passing ratio).
My most recent experience was teaching students in middle school with disabilities. I taught all grades (6-8) and all subjects for a total of 30 years.
I consider myself to be personable able to relate to others extremely well. What I love about tutoring is helping a student gain understanding of the subject matter, getting feedback from the student about successes and any needs they have. I have taught students in many subjects and many age groups as well as various settings.

I am certified in elementary math teaching. I have had experience teaching elementary math to Kindergarten through 6th grade and enjoy finding various methods and modes of reaching students that have difficulty with math.

I also have certification in reading and have taught in the elementary education levels for over 20 years.

I am certified in learning disabilities, emotional behavior, and other health impairments. My students range from Kindergarten to adult and I have enjoyed helping them throughout the years successfully.
