I am currently a middle grades 6-8 ESE teacher providing English instruction. Prior to, I rotated between 4th and 5th grades. However, I have taught all elementary grades over the past 15 years. I have three children who I also enjoy teaching during ANY time during the day. My hobbies are traveling, teaching, shopping, and teaching my children during spare time.

I have three children who I also enjoy teaching during ANY time during the day. My hobbies are traveling, teaching, shopping, and teaching my children during spare time.

I am an ideal tutor because I can relate and understand the demand of the students. I believe every child has the ability to overachieve in some area or another. Smart is something that is taught, smart is something you become and although a child may not get it, the power of YET is always grand reassurance.

My ultimate objective was to teach middle school English. However, once I had my own children, began homeschooling them, and watched their progress and took feedback from others in consideration, I knew elementary education would suit me better. I am adamant about English in general because if you can read you can write, if you can write you can spell, and ultimately comprehension aligns. Reading should be second natural habit because it is required for everything we do on a daily. Even in math, it is a necessity to be able to understand and be fluent in English.

Very patient, caring, and knowledgeable

Taneshia is a great tutor. She tutors my 7 yr old, he has a hard time learning and gets embarrassed if he doesn't know the answer but she makes him at ease and that its ok not to know the answer (YET) and is very patient.
