I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biological Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Florida. I am also certified by the Florida Department of Education to teach Biology 6-12. My academic background, combined with my professional experience, has given me a strong foundation in biology, anatomy, physiology, and general science. I enjoy helping students break down complex topics into ideas that actually make sense. My goal is always to help students feel more confident in their understanding rather than overwhelmed by the material.

Much of my experience comes from professional training and one-to-one instruction in healthcare and clinical settings. In my previous roles, I regularly taught and trained individuals with different learning styles, which required me to adjust how I explained information depending on the person and situation. I've found that patience, clear communication, and real-world examples go a long way in helping learners grasp difficult concepts. These experiences translate well into tutoring, especially when students feel stuck or unsure where to begin.

When working with students, I typically support elementary school, middle school, high school, and introductory college-level coursework. Each session is tailored to the students needs, whether that means reviewing homework, preparing for an exam, or strengthening foundational skills. I aim to create a comfortable, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and build confidence in science over time.
