I have been teaching/tutoring students globally for more than 10 years. I have taught students from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. I have taught ESL to undergraduates and graduates, as well as traditional and non-traditional students. I have also taught the English section of the SAT. I love to share my knowledge with students because it gives me great pleasure, especially when they grasp concept had challenged them.
I have a Masters from Hunter College and an English degree from Pace University. I am an expert in the English Language. I teach concepts and simplify them with everyday objects or experiences to aid students' understanding. For example, for students who are mathematically inclined I use the number line to teach the principle of singular and plural. To teaching symbolism, I sometimes use fruits and draw upon nature. Students are usually impressed with this technique. I am patient and look forward to helping students realize their potentials and goals.
I meet students where they are and take them where they want to go. If this journey interests you, please contact me. I look forward to meeting and accompanying you to your destination.
