Hello! I'm Amanda. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After completing my degree, I enrolled in over 20 college credit hours to become reading- and ESE-endorsed. My teaching career includes time spent as a paraprofessional in the classroom while earning my degree, a lead VPK teacher, and a public school elementary teacher, with a combined 8 years of teaching. Additionally, I have experience working with a diverse population of students who may require some additional support to achieve their learning targets.
I have known since kindergarten that I wanted to be an early childhood educator, and I am fortunate enough to live out my dream. I have a strong desire to help students grow academically, become more confident learners, and to create a love for learning. This has been my teaching approach for many years. I believe in a strong parent-teacher relationship and respect that parents know their child best. Therefore, I welcome any suggestions or input that parents can provide on how their students learn best. Feel free to contact me for any additional questions or to schedule a session. I look forward to hearing from you!
