My background includes senior roles at Fidelity Investments, Stonyfield Farm, and Bose Corporation, where I wrote and edited executive messages, employee communications, presentations, newsletters, internal campaigns, business updates, and strategic content for large organizations.
That experience gives me a strong foundation for tutoring writing, essay development, resume writing, cover letters, business writing, presentations, and general communication skills. While my experience is not traditional classroom teaching, much of my career involved coaching professionals, leaders, and teams on how to communicate more clearly and effectively. I have helped people organize complex ideas, strengthen their writing, improve tone and structure, and create messages that are easy to understand and persuasive. My approach is practical and supportive: I help students clarify what they are trying to say, organize their thoughts, improve sentence flow, and build confidence in their own voice rather than simply rewriting the work for them.
I am especially well-suited to working one-on-one with elementary through high school students, college students, and adults who need help with essays, resumes, cover letters, presentations, professional writing, or career-related communication.
