I attended college on a full-tuition scholarship, where I majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and completed a Senior Honors Thesis. My writing has also been included in publications like Adelaide Literary Magazine, The Bangalore Review, and TWJ Magazine to date. More recently in February 2026, Universal Orlando Resort published an article I wrote on their official blog website!

Moreover, for the past 7+ years, I operated as an Essay Editor for a college counseling company, where I edited 1,500+ college essays and helped students gain admission into a diversity of elite institutions including Ivy League schools, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, NYU, Northwestern, USC, Georgetown, Duke, and more. In addition, I worked with students in a classroom setting as a Substitute Teacher in 2017, where I was offered a permanent teaching position before ultimately deciding to work in college counseling.

Bible Studies

Having been raised a Christian, I’ve been a lifelong learner of the Bible throughout my entire life. This began with attending children’s church while also studying at a Christian school from kindergarten to 8th grade where I took a Bible course every year, and grew into voluntarily studying the Scriptures in my personal time as a college student. I’ve continued my lifelong learning of Scripture to this present day through Bible study, utilizing commentaries, and am currently taking a Christian leadership class at a local church. As a tutor, I would hope to help students learn and gain an understanding of the Scriptures, while also encouraging them to deepen their relationship with God.

I have been included in the following literary publications to date with more forthcoming: Adelaide Literary Magazine, The Bangalore Review, TWJ Magazine, and Poetry Quarterly. I was also awarded an Author Fellowship to attend the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing workshop in 2021. Furthermore, I earned my degree from the University of Miami where I majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. In addition, I completed a Senior Honors Thesis through the Creative Writing Department, in which I produced a 75+ page project during my final year as an undergraduate student.

One of my most notable roles working 7+ years in college counseling was Interview Prep Specialist. In this position, I worked with undergraduate and graduate school applicants to prepare them for the college interview process. This involved conducting one-on-one meetings with each student, providing key insight and strategic advice to bolster their candidacy for admission. Not only was I able to help a myriad of students ace their interview, but I was also able to boost their confidence and encourage them in the process.
