I hold a great passion for learning, education, and community. On Wyzant, I hope to exercise this passion and inspire future generations through teaching and mentorship. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Neuroscience, which I earned at 18. Currently, I am a graduate student at Stanford University School of Medicine, continuing my research focus in the Neurosciences.
Throughout the years, I have held several teaching positions at supplemental education centers and in private tutoring. I have refined my teaching approach to cater to the needs of each student by crafting individualized, challenging curricula and assessments. I believe in not just preparing students for exams but equipping them with a deep understanding of the subject matter.
My research experience actively contributes to my teaching approach by allowing me to bring real-world applications into the learning environment. My interests largely revolve around deciphering the mechanisms of long-term memory storage and maintenance. I have co-authored multiple publications in the field of neurobiology and continue to further my experience through graduate studies.
Parents and students can trust that my unique combination of academic excellence, individualized teaching approaches, and ongoing research initiatives positions me as a mentor who instills a passion for continuous learning.
