I know the Next Generation Science Standards and the B.E.S T. Math curriculum quite well. I know places where they align. I know how to support the struggle to learn Algebra and apply these skills to Chemistry.
For example students must know ratios and percent to fraction to decimal conversions before understanding Chemistry. As a Clinical nutrtion student, I am learning quite a bit more about Chemistry and even Biology and Biochemistry and their everyday applications.
