Recently graduated from the University of Florida with my Bachelors of Science in Biology, I tutored fellow pre-dental students on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), with a focus in Biology, Perceptual Ability, Reading, and Quantitative Reasoning. Before taking the DAT I was an SAT tutor throughout high school and college with my primary focus being helping low stat test takers boost their scores. I had received a 460 on the AA portion of the DAT and a 470 on the PAT, 520 in Biology, 490 in Reading, and 480 in Quantitative reasoning after studying for 3 weeks. As for the people I have tutored, the average they see their scores go up from the 320 range to 480 range. I had a few students who I worked with long term who saw substantial improvement on their DAT the second time they took it. I work with my students through repetition and concept breakdowns to tackle the high yield content of test questions as well as test taking strategies to ace the DAT. I applied to 15 schools and received interview invitations from 14 schools; I did not attend all of the interviews and was accepted to 5 schools.
