Hello, I’m Jonathan! I’m an incoming dental student at the University of California, San Francisco and a Spring 2026 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida. I tutor DAT prep as well as science more broadly, especially Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I work with pre-dental students, pre-med students, and other students taking challenging science courses who want stronger understanding and better exam performance.
At UF, I studied Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and worked as a teaching assistant for upper-level physiology courses such as Motor Learning and Movement Neuroscience during my junior and senior year. In that role, I wrote practice problems, held office hours, answered student questions, and helped students prepare more effectively for difficult science exams. I also have several years of teaching experience through piano instruction, where I trained students for recitals and ABRSM exams. That experience strengthened my ability to break down complex material, teach with patience and structure, and guide students through high-stakes preparation.
For DAT students, I focus especially on Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry, where I scored above the 95th percentile in the science sections. In tutoring, my goal is not just to explain content, but to help students apply it correctly to questions, recognize patterns, and build a study process that is actually effective between sessions.
Whether you are preparing for the DAT, trying to improve in a science course, or looking for support in pre-health subjects more generally, I aim to make difficult material clearer, more manageable, and more test-ready. If that sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out or schedule a session.
