I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Neuroscience and Behavior, as well as a Master of Science in Biomedical Science with a certification in Genomics and Predictive Health from Florida Atlantic University. Through this training, I built a strong foundation in subjects such as microbiology, anatomy and physiology, and general biology. As a graduate teaching assistant, I supported courses including Microbiology, Biological Principles Lab, and Anatomy and Physiology Lab. I created study materials, guided students through complex concepts, held office hours, and helped design fair assessments, working with students in both group and one-on-one settings .
Beyond the classroom, I have experience teaching and mentoring through health promotion and clinical skills organizations. I have presented to large groups on public health topics and taught hands-on skills such as suturing and blood pressure measurement. These roles strengthened my ability to break down difficult concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I focus on making material practical, understandable, and tailored to each student’s needs and pace.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students who feel stuck or overwhelmed. I understand what it’s like to struggle with difficult subjects, and I use that experience to teach with patience and empathy. My goal is not just to help students get answers, but to build confidence and ensure they truly understand the material so they can succeed independently.
