I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Florida and USF. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and mathematics, which allows me to confidently teach both high school and college-level students. In addition to my formal education, I have worked as a clinical research coordinator and collaborated with physicians and patients, which sharpened my ability to communicate complex scientific information in a clear and practical way.
I have three years of formal classroom teaching experience, where I taught anatomy and physiology, mathematics, and logic to middle and high school students. As a teacher, I learned how to adapt my approach depending on a student’s age, learning style, and confidence level. I emphasized breaking down difficult concepts into manageable parts, using real-life examples, and encouraging active problem solving rather than rote memorization. I also incorporated visuals, practice problems, and interactive discussions to make lessons engaging and effective.
Beyond the classroom, I have tutored students one-on-one in subjects ranging from algebra and geometry to biology and test preparation for standardized exams such as the SAT and MCAT. My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and focused on building both mastery and confidence. Whether I am helping a high school student strengthen their math fundamentals or guiding a pre-med student through MCAT content, my goal is always to provide clarity, structure, and encouragement so that every student can reach their full potential.
