Over the years, I’ve also completed several professional development courses focused on early childhood education and learning engagement, which have helped me better understand how young students think, learn, and stay motivated.
I have been tutoring and teaching for 4 months, working with students ranging from early elementary through middle school. Much of my experience has been one-on-one, both in person, which has allowed me to design highly personalized lessons that focus on each child’s strengths and growth areas. I have also volunteered in classroom and after-school settings, helping children develop confidence in reading, writing, and math through creative, hands-on learning methods.
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I believe that learning should be both structured and enjoyable, so I incorporate stories, visual aids, and games to keep young learners engaged while building strong foundational skills. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and celebrating their progress.
