I'm a LPN who loves helping patients achieve positive outcomes to experience wellbeing and live their best life possible. Between intense study of Anatomy & Physiology in Nursing school and hands-on experiences in the real world... I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to the human body - particularly how it's systems function in normal and pathological states.
Also, I've been an English scholar for a couple of decades now. Besides scoring top grades in all my English Honors classes from high school to college, and I've received accolades from various Professors for my written works.
My teaching style is vigorous yet compassionate, and I definitely believe having fun facilitates learning! I take pride in a creative design process for all my lessons, and update them as new evidence based research emerges. Every student is a unique individual, so I aim to tailor my teaching plan to every pupil as we work together. My goal is to aid students in accomplishing their own goals via monitoring for progress then adjusting the plan as needed, as well as keeping an eye out for trouble areas every step of way. I prefer to collaborate with my pupils as "teammates" to accelerate their ability to understand materials covered in our lessons. While I expect anyone seeking tutoring to approach the learning process with dedication and a desire to learn, I'm also aware of the various factors that may act as barriers to learning for a range of development stages.
In the past I've had success tutoring elementary and middle school ESE students in general subject matters.
While studying Nursing 8 years ago, I had the pleasure of Tutoring my fellow classmates in A&P, Pharmacology, Chemistry/Microbiology, and all of our Nursing Program Courses.
