I am a former Canadian teacher, mom and a substitute teaching assistant with three years teaching experience in the classroom. I have former tutoring experience and ESL teaching experience. I am resourceful and innovative and have a knack for creating inventive lesson plans. I have been a stay at home mom for five years and have been involved in preparing my child for her upcoming school years.

I have a love of learning and passion for teaching others. The things I love about tutoring the most is the one-on-one teaching experience for the child that they do not receive in the traditional classroom setting. The best way to learn is through hands on manipulatives not just reading from books.

I hold a bachelors degree in History and kinesiology. I have 3 successful children who excel in academics and sports. I spend time preparing lessons and gathering materials to make the tutoring session a fun and successful experience. I have taught various grade levels and all subject areas.

I am an excellent writer, have a knack for teaching spelling and vocabulary as well as high quality proofreading skills. In the past I have worked for an ESL company based in Canada and taught a variety of English lessons for Korean students.
