Previously, Heather worked professionally in the higher and adult education, writing, editing, and public speaking industries for over two decades. After earning her B.A., Ed. and M.A. from the University of West Florida, she taught for 13 years in their English and Communication Arts Departments as a Faculty Instructor, while also working as a substitute Writing, Vocabulary, and Public Speaking teacher for middle and high school students.
