I know what it feels like to sit up late, struggling through schoolwork and wishing someone could help. When I was younger, tutoring was not something we could afford, and I carried limiting beliefs about what I was capable of learning. That experience shapes how I work with students now. Many students come in thinking they are bad at a subject. I help them see they are not bad but need support, strategy, and someone who believes they can improve. Whether the goal is to pass a class, earn a B (even an A), or truly understand the subject, I help students build confidence and make real progress.
Okay a little about my education background. I graduated magna cum laude from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Arts and Technology a minor in Theater and Film Production and over $100k invested in business and speaking courses. Point is I love learning and hope to instill that in the students I work with.
I have experience working with middle school/high school students in English, Science, Reading, Art, History, Marketing and more. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I support students by breaking down difficult concepts, strengthening study habits, and creating a space where they can ask questions without judgment. My background includes Montessori and classroom teaching, mentoring, and coaching. Over the last 7 months I have worked with students in schools, helping them grow academically and feel more confident in their abilities. Now I look forward to helping them in a 1-1 setting.
