I am an enthusiastic and experienced CPA and university accounting and business teacher (over 20 years) and have worked one-on-one with students every week of those 20 years! I enjoy the one-on-one experience, especially at the moment a student "gets" it! It's really rewarding to me!

In one week, Lisa took me from utterly lost in my graduate Financial Accounting class to understanding how to create a SCF from the info in the B/S and Supplemental notes. She helped me visualize the whole situation, explained the WHY behind so many things. She truly has the talent of teaching! After two weeks of struggling in class, she is a breath of fresh air! As a freshman in college, I struggled immensely with my first undergrad accounting class. I'd never taken accounting before, didn't understand the processes, and certainly didn't understand the why behind those processes. After scoring a 57 on my first of three exams, I turned to Lisa for help. Lisa is amazing; she was an absolutely fantastic teacher, knew a great deal about accounting, and was extremely patient as I slowly grasped the concepts and the why behind them. Not only did her reteaching of the concepts make much more sense to me than my professor's, but also her answering of my numerous questions allowed me to feel far more comfortable with the material. The second exam I scored an 82, a 25 point increase that my professor even called out in class! I ended the class with a solid B, and I couldn't be happier with how much I've learned and improved. I am beyond grateful to Lisa, and I highly recommend her for absolutely any accounting support and questions you may have! :)
