Hello! My name is Kenneth, and I am a certified elementary school teacher currently teaching 4th grade in Florida. I am also completing my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) at Florida Atlantic University. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong academic skills, and reach their full potential. My classroom students consistently perform well above district and state averages on FAST assessments, and I use data-driven instruction to identify learning gaps and accelerate student growth.
I have extensive experience teaching reading, writing, mathematics, and literacy skills to elementary-aged students in both general education and specialized learning environments. My teaching approach focuses on creating engaging, individualized lessons that meet students where they are academically while challenging them to reach higher levels of achievement. I incorporate evidence-based instructional practices, differentiated instruction, and positive reinforcement to help students stay motivated and successful. Whether a student needs remediation, enrichment, homework support, test preparation, or help mastering foundational skills, I tailor each session to their unique learning needs.
In addition to my classroom experience, I am a published author through the Florida Literacy Association and have been recognized for my commitment to literacy and education. I was also selected as a Patterson Scholar, a highly competitive distinction awarded to only a small number of educators nationwide. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in literacy instruction, diverse teaching practices, and student-centered learning. I look forward to partnering with students and families to help learners gain confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a lifelong love of learning
